If im not mistaken i did came across her cd last time when i was browsing thru Pj Harvey (another excellent singer) stuff but i can’t be bother to take notice of her. However  it never occurs to my mind that someday i will somehow listen to her song especially when it’s a recommendation from my lady and i’m hook to it definitely. I have to say Regina Spektor  a Soviet-born American along with those great female singers like PJ Harvey, Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Jewel,  Alanis Morissette,  Liz Phair, Sheryl Crow and many more. She definitely belongs into that category of singer songwriter-guitarist-pianist who dont’t care about the charts,don’t care about genres and not doing this for the money either but instead for the love of playing music.
